The examination period for the ABRSM Practical Exam August to early/mid-November 2019 session is from 6 Aug 2019 (9:00 AM) to 9 Nov 2019 (5:15 PM). 

Before you apply for rescheduling of your/your candidate's practical examination, please make sure you have :

• read and understood the following instructions.

• a copy of the admission form.

• a valid credit card (i.e. VISA or MasterCard) for online payment.  Only credit cards with "Verified by VISA" or "MasterCard Secure Code" will be accepted. For details, please contact the card issuing company.

Please note that : 

• this service is not applicable to candidates taking bulky instruments exams (i.e. Organ, Double Bass, Harp, Ensembles, Harpsichord and Percussion) or Diploma exams (except ARSM exams).

• this application must be submitted and completed (including payment of the supplementary fee for rescheduling) at least 14 days before the original exam date.

• candidates who wish to apply for rescheduling can either submit an online application or hand in a paper-form application, but NOT both.   

• you should pay a supplementary fee of HK$309.00 if the application for rescheduling is successful. Fees paid are not refundable and are not transferable from one examination to another or from one candidate to another or for any other purposes.

• interpreter service will only be provided on certain days and candidates having interpreter service in their original exam appointments may not be provided the service after rescheduling of appointments and that the interpreter service fee paid is not refundable and is not transferable from one examination to another or from one candidate to another or for any other purposes.

• if the application for rescheduling is unsuccessful, you/your candidate is required to report to the exam centre according to the date and time originally specified on the admission form.

• due to factors like the lack of examiners and physical constraints of the examination venues, there can be no guarantee that applications for rescheduling will be successful.

• you will be asked to select your preferred exam date(s), time and area.  Please ensure you/your candidate are available for exam as indicated in your preferences.  You are strongly recommended to communicate with your accompanist, escort, etc., if applicable, before submitting your application.  Once you have confirmed your preferences, a probable timeslot, if found, will be shown and held for the candidate for 1 calendar day (24 hours).  The same timeslot will be shown for the candidate during this period even if different preferences are entered.  Please note that the timeslot will be held for the consideration of the candidate concerned only.  Rescheduling will be confirmed once successful payment is made when the timeslot is being held for the candidate.  If no payment is successfully made, the timeslot will be released after 24 hours.
